A few months ago, I was contacted by and asked to contribute a blog post for their month-long Paris campaign. I (who, of course, always loves gabbing about my favorite spots in Paris) was thrilled! My guest post is up on their site and is featuring my photography as well.

Check out the article here!

Thanks to Leah at and to my sweet Paris…. I’ll be seeing you soon! SEI Restaurant and Lounge in Penn Quarter

Check out my photos on the page for SEI Restaurant and Lounge in Penn Quarter! Clever sushi, an amazing hamburger (can we say Bacon Tempura?!), and a cool, modern atmosphere.

Thanks to Nancy and the SEI team for making such an enjoyable shoot!

Nod from NY Times…

I told you guys that the Duck Wings Confit at Ripple were amazing. Even the NY Times agrees! by Food Network is Live!

Drumroll please…. my big food project for the Food Network went life on the interwebz last week. I would have blogged about it last week, if I hadn’t been running around like a crazy person (but, seriously, when is that?) is an amazing site that’s using DC as it’s first city before expansion to other markets. You can read all about local restaurants, see photos (huzzah!) of the food and ambiance, and reserve online. You can even create a user profile and review the places you’ve been and see your friend’s favorite spots.

The first shoot I did for them was Smith Commons back in July. I love this place for the exposed brick and inventive cocktails.

I’ll be featuring the other restaurants in blog posts to come, so stay tuned!

Mmmm…. my favorite wings EVER! Ripple and their amazing chef Logan Cox have rolled out Duck Wings Confit just in time for this amazing fall weather we’re having in DC. They got written up on  this week featuring my photo. Check out the site or even better, head up to Cleveland Park for some tasting wings while they last!
